Christmas greetings from our CEO
About a month has passed since I (Petter Johnsson) took over the position as CEO of Alde. In addition, the year is coming to an end. Two good reasons to reflect on both the past and the coming year.
Looking back
The year 2021, like 2020, offered many new opportunities but also challenges. Something very positive is that the interest in the industry has reached new heights and we see many new campers out there. This is absolutely fantastic and I wish you all many wonderful years with your new or new old recreational vehicles.
Some challenges that the industry has encountered include a lack of materials and skyrocketing prices for components and freight. However, I can proudly say that the staff at Alde do a fantastic job every day that keeps the pace up in the business. No matter what obstacles we face, we solve it, together. It is an honor to lead such a strong-willed and committed crowd of people – a big thank you to you all!
Belief in the future
Now that the year has almost come to an end, I can not help but speculate about what 2022 will be like. No one can say how the year will develop, but I see a bright future. I look forward to new meetings and the experiences that lie ahead of me in this new role as CEO of Alde.
But before we rush to next year with new challenges and opportunities, I will enjoy some time off and spend time with my loved ones. I hope that you also get a nice holiday, so see you again next year – with new strength and ready for new times!
