New year’s letter from Stefan Lindström, acting MD Alde Sweden
What a year we have had! And as one year ends and a new one begins, I like to reflect upon both time passed and what lies ahead.
During 2023 we launched the Alde Compact 3030 Plus, which means that we for the first time are now offering two versions of the Alde Compact boiler. Both products still being premium, but with the Plus version you get that little extra.
We have also done a tremendous amount of changes in our production. We have a new rolling robot, a re-designed production line, new and innovative testing equipment and increased flexibility in the convector line. But there have also been smaller changes, such as more ergonomic work stations and a refresh of the facilities with new paint on the walls. To do these changes and to secure continuous development we have strengthened the maintenance organisation with both more staff and better equipment.
Looking forward…
A great milestone for Alde is that we as a company are turning 75 years old during 2024. We already know that the coming year will be characterized by many opportunities but also challenges, primarily by the insecurities of the current economic situation in the world.
But we see this time as a possibility to grow in new markets, with new products and in new segments. The interest for outdoor living continues to be strong. This is proven by the high number of visitors at shows during the autumn and gives us confidence in a strong long-term demand.
